Saint Lucia Arrival Helicopter Airport Transfers

One of the most requested tours or activities requested by my clients is the arrival helicopter transfers in Saint Lucia and one I always confirm for my personal travel. My most recent experience (pictured here), the flight took 11 minutes from the south airport to the north airport and then about 30 minutes by private car from there to Sandals Grande St Lucian.

Insider Secrets:

1. You will be allowed to take a small twenty pound bag on the helicopter with you- be sure to keep your passports, medicine and a change of clothing or swim suit- your checked luggage will arrive the resort a couple hours after you do- so if you want to visit resort beach or pool or change into tropical attire for dinner after a long day of travel make sure you take that with you on the helicopter.

2.Keep your phone or camera handy as there are lots of photo opportunities as you fly across the island.

3. Book early as soon as you have your flight details as it does sell out daily. Also you can book the helicopter 🚁 in both directions but I normally just do the arrival and take the resort airport shuttle on the return back to the airport.
